About AAIET 2025

Advancing Applied Artificial Intelligence for a Smarter and Sustainable Future

The International Conference on Applied Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies (AAIET 2025) will take place on December 15–16, 2025, at Ziane Achour University of Djelfa, Algeria, with hybrid (on-site and online) participation options.

The event is organized by the Laboratory of Computer Science & Applied Artificial Intelligence (CSAAI-Lab) at Ziane Achour University of Djelfa, with the support of AI House at Djelfa University.

AAIET 2025 serves as a global forum for researchers, scientists, engineers, and industry experts to share and discuss the latest advances, innovations, and applications in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Emerging Technologies. This inaugural edition aims to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical implementation, promoting AI solutions that address real-world societal and industrial challenges.

The conference theme, "Applied Artificial Intelligence for a Smarter and Sustainable Future," highlights the transformative role of AI in shaping the next generation of intelligent, secure, and sustainable systems. Contributions are invited from both academia and industry, covering theoretical foundations, experimental results, and industrial applications that push the boundaries of AI-driven innovation.

Call for Papers

The International Conference on Applied Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies (AAIET 2025) invites the submission of original, high-quality research papers on all topics related to applied AI and emerging technologies.

Paper Categories:

  • Regular Papers: 6-8 pages presenting completed research
  • Short Papers: 4-5 pages presenting work-in-progress or case studies
  • Demo Papers: 2-3 pages describing system demonstrations

His research focuses on communication, optimization, and security for connected vehicles and smart cities. Djahel’s work aims to drive innovation in sustainable urban mobility, supported by notable funding from EPSRC, JSPS, and the Newton Fund.
