Prof Abdelmalik Taleb-Ahmed has been a Full Professor with the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, Valenciennes, France, since 2004. His research interests include segmentation, classification, data fusion, pattern recognition, computer vision, and machine learning, with applications in biometrics, video surveillance, autonomous driving, and medical imaging. Prof. Abdelmalik Taleb-Ahmed has coauthored over 85 peer-reviewed papers and (co)supervised 30 graduate students in these areas of research.
